Queen Jennifer Okorie feed children and widow for Anambra
Queen Jennifer Nkeiruka Okorie don extend her campaign to Anambra as she feed over 500 children for Mgbakwu community wey dey Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Okorie, wey be Miss Global Ambassador first feed children for Lagos on January 21, before she kon go Anambra.
Both old people, widows, widowers and less-privileged people na dem benefit from the “Feed and Save Tomorrow” (FAST) programme.
The programme, as Miss Okorie, take talk, go reach all states for the country, wey no get where dem dey stay, and the ones wey no get better water abi food to drink.
Na everybody wey dey include old people, physically challenged people, enter the community market square to go collect their own food.
As to her,
“I am not doing it because I have money; I am doing it because of the condition of the people not only in Anambra state, but throughout the country.
“This programme is not ending in Anambra, we did it in Lagos and very soon, we will move to my home state, Ebonyi and later on, other states.
“When you look at the number of the poor, the less privileged, widows, widowers and physically challenged today in the society, one should be touched, I feel happy staying with such people.
“The project believes that children are the tomorrow we look up to, and in feeding them today, we are saving the tomorrow they will become”.
