Police don arrest 124 suspected rapists for Kano

Kano State Police Command don reveal say na like 124 suspected rapists dem don arrest between April and June.

The Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Magaji Majiya, yarn this one for Kano on Wednesday, when he dey parade the suspects before newsmen.

As he take talk, the police don record about 115 cases of rape, sodomy and other acts of indecency within the period.

He assure as em dey worry about the fact say crime dey increase for the state, but police go dey do their best.

He kon beg religious leaders, traditional rulers, and Nigerians make dem join hands with security agency to take fight crimes.

Majiya talk say the command don put patrol for 44 local government areas of the state to take track down anyone wey go try disturb the public.

He dismiss the threat wey some northern youths dey ask dem Igbo make dem leave north, he say

“majority of the youths are now literate and appreciate the implications of an uprising.”

Majiya many youths for Kano dey leave with Igbo people wey dey Kano, and dem no go spoil the age-long business ties wey the Igbo community don build over the years.

Majiya kon tell non-indigenes for Kano say the command go make sure say dem protect all of them for the whole community e no matter wetin there tribe be.
