ISIS boils 7 men alive for desertion

ISIS has reportedly executed seven of its officials by boiling them alive over accusations of desertion of an Iraqi battlefield.

The officials who are reported to have fled during a battle in Sharqat, in the Salahuddin province, were reportedly ordered killed by the Islamic state on Monday, July 4, 2016.

The American Herald Tribune reports that the suspects, before being thrown into the boiling Cauldron of water, were shackled hands and foot ensuring that they would be unable to escape.

This is one of a number of cases where officials are punished by execution for slight offences.
