Cult members kill NSCDC official for Ekiti State

Some gunmen on Wednesday don kill one Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps official, wey em name na Sunday Afolabi, for Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The gunmen shoot am near the NSCDC state headquarters for Afao Road around 3 o’clock for afternoon.

One witness talk say two men ambush am when he dey drive go town for em Toyota Camry 2015 model.

“The two men dragged him from his car and shot him in the back and leg while he was trying to flee the scene. He died from shortage of blood because there was no one to help him.”

The people wey kill am carry em service pistol run, but dem go park em car put for one bushy area.

The NSCDC spokesman, Tolu Afolabi, confirm the matter to reporters on Thursday.

He talk say dem don already start investigation ontop the matter to take know who kill the man.

Late Afolabi na the head of Intelligence and Investigation Unit of NSCDC. And em na assistant to Superintendent Corps 1.

Police Public Relations Officer, Alberto Adeyemi, talk say na some suspected cult members kill Afolabi along Afao Road.

He say na some policemen carry em dead body go deposit for mortuary.
