Court sentence man to 3 years imprisonment after em steal bank property

Igbosere Magistrates’ Court for Lagos, on Friday sentence one 32-year-old man, Mohammed Useni, to three years imprisonment ontop sey he steal property of FCMB Plc wey dey worth N500, 000.

The Magistrate, Mr B. A. Sonuga, sentence Useni  without any option of fine after em plead guilty to two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.

“Upon the plea of guilty, the confessional statement of the accused and the facts adduced by this court, the accused is guilty as charged.

“He is hereby sentenced to one year imprisonment on count one and two years imprisonment on count two,” she said.

Sonuga talk say the sentence go take effect from April 21.

Before, the prosecutor, Sgt. Friday Mameh yarn court say Useni commit the offence with two other people wey don run, on April 19, a No. 1, Ligali Ayorinde St., Victoria Island Lagos.

He say the security guard report the matter to Maroko police station after he catch Useni when he dey leave the bank with the items wey em steal.

He sasy dem steal three AC wey worth N300,000 with some cable wey dey worth N200,000.

Before dem sentence Useni, he beg for mercy sey em no go do any criminal things again.
