SERAP asks EFCC to probe Speaker Yakubu Dogara over N40b budget padding allegation

Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin recently accused the House of Representatives Speaker and other principal officers in the Green Chambers of budget padding, worth N40b.

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to investigate the allegation.

According to reports, Jibrin alleged that Yakubu Dogara tried to make him cover up budget misappropriation.

Doagara has however dismissed Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin’s allegations, saying it’s all joke.
